Workplace crisis readiness training
Coming soon · No sign-up · Nothing stored
A half-day classroom course for employers, schools, churches and similar organizations. Certified instructors deliver it using public guidance from DHS, CISA, the FBI, FEMA and the American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed program. There is no firearms handling, no tactics instruction and no medical procedures beyond pointing you to hands-on Stop the Bleed classes.
Who it is for
Non-sworn staff and volunteer teams who need a shared picture of workplace violence preparedness: notice danger early, follow the organization’s emergency plan, understand Run-Hide-Fight as described in official materials, communicate during an event and reunify afterward.
What the pilot covers (about 4 hours)
- Situational awareness and reporting paths aligned to your organization’s policy
- Emergency plans, evacuation routes and assembly areas
- Run, Hide, Fight options from Ready.gov and partner agency materials (options-based awareness, not fighting techniques)
- Where to get hands-on bleeding control training (Stop the Bleed)
- Communications, 911 information and family reunification concepts
- A tabletop walkthrough with injects, closed by a structured hot wash
Outline level only. Delivery is by credentialed instructors; content stays tied to public sources cited in our course design documents.
How you are graded
Each run uses an evaluation scorecard modeled on operational test practice (critical issues, measures of effectiveness and performance, and a scoring conference). You receive an individual exit summary; your organization’s crisis team gets a team rollup; the course run gets a course-level after-action record. This is separate from the free household readiness check on this site, which scores your home preparedness in your browser only.
